Pourer - Everglades
Made in Noosaville, QLD.
Gorgeous handmade pourer, made from beautiful creamy porcelain clay. Each piece is created using a technique called slipcasting, where liquid clay is poured into a plaster mould, left to set for the desired thickness and the excess slip poured out. The basic shape is then altered to create this gorgeous pourer shape ~ the base is widened, dimples are added and a spout is created by hand. A beautiful pourer suited for all sauces, gravy and dressings, available in two sizes.
This stunning Everglades glaze features several different glazes layered together to create a beautiful range of colours and pattern that varies on each piece. Inspired by their local Noosa Everglades, the colours and patterns created are reminiscent of sparkling rivers and sunshine rays on trickling waterfalls, surrounded by mossy rocks, dark water rockpools, green mangroves and white sandy beaches. This glaze has to be seen in person to truly appreciate all the subtle variations that happen when one glaze meets the other.
