Bolga baskets are hand woven from elephant grass and the leather handles are significant in making them sturdier.

The vegan (natural) baskets are more delicate because they’re missing the leather enforcement, so we recommend using them carefully and to avoid carrying heavy items. This is especially true for the large vegan baskets.
