A Fetch Favourite...Yellow Billy

As soon as Yellow Billy opened their doors it has been a firm family favourite of ours. It's such a great place to sit and unwind after a big week at work. As soon as I sit down here I am instantly relaxed in the laidback atmosphere.
This restaurant is located at Piggs Peake winery and is the creation of joint owners chef Sam Alexander and Sommelier Pat Hester. Seasonal produce is at the core of Yellow Billy's ever evolving menu.
They cook the most amazing proteins and vegetables over a custom made fire pit. Everything has that flavour that can only be obtained by cooking over an open flame. Plates are designed to be shared and it's the ultimate place for anyone who likes to have little bits of everything - no food envy over someone else's meal here! The wine list is also out of this world and they do a pretty mean cocktail too.
Weather permitting, there are tables outside which are dog (and child) friendly. We have seen so many pampered pooches here - I even saw one sitting in a pram once! Lilah loves to go exploring on the grounds, she often finds little frogs and lizards and loves going up to the veggie garden to see what they are growing.
Meals are served banquet style and make sure you bring your appetite because there is always plenty of food.
Check out their website for bookings and current menu.
